The discussion rooms of Jyväskylä Hacklab are located in the Matrix space
#space:jkl.hacklab.fi. With Matrix you can join all conversations. Additionally, you can join the general discussion room via Telegram, Discord, and
IRCNet. The national Hacklab.fi community also has rooms in the same way that you might want to join. The table below should clarify the situation:

Note: Matrix is federated, so if you already have an account on another Matrix server, it will suffice and you can join our conversation directly. It thus works similarly to email addresses.
The Discord community moved on 3.9.2022 to become part of the Onko Kortepohja hereillä guild.
Join the guild first and then open the
direct link to the room.
Group chat rules
Group chat is intended for discussing hobby-related matters. The discussion does not have to be strictly about the association. Respect other people while chatting. Prohibited are especially:
- Threatening behavior and hate speech
- Political agitation
- Spam and advertising
The Hacklab group chat is moderated by individuals appointed by the board. You cannot appeal individual moderation decisions. You can discuss the moderation policy, for example, in community meetings.
